Hi Everybody,

Thanks for those that attended the 47/50/51 Tri-Sectional Conference this past weekend. Omega Epsilon hosted an excellent conference and Section 50 had a great turn out. Section 50 awarded some nice hardware/awards at our business meeting and banquet. Below is a list of the deserving recipients of the 2008 Section 50 Awards:

Friend of the Year: Roxanne Turner - Zeta Alpha
Leader of the Year: Ashlee Ford - Alpha Alpha
Most Improved Chapter: Zeta Alpha (Bradley University)

Upcoming Chapter Events in Section 50:

Omega Epsilon at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, IL (April 6th - 7PM) - Rootbeer Kegger in Hansen Student Center, to promote safe drinking. They are selling cups for $3 as a fundraiser for the Heartland Coalition. Also, fun games and goggles to simulate intoxication will help with learning about the effects of drinking. Delta Psi at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL (April 19th - 27th) - APO Service Week kicks off with the SYSD service project (Kiddy Carnival) Carnival games and face painting with the local community. Contact Luvenia <lnbetts@eiu.edu>
Eta Epsilon at Millikin University in Decatur, IL (Saturday, April 26th - 4-7PM) - Awards/Fellowship BBQ. They will be presenting HE awards, Senior Farewells, and then some great fellowship with barbeque and a hot tub! Contact Heather <htousignant@millikin.edu>

Upcoming National Events:

National Volunteer Conference in Independence, MO - Thursday, July 31st - Sunday, August 3rd 2008 - "Putting the Pieces Together" Online Registration is already open visit: www.apo.org. The cost is $75, which includes most meals and 3 nights at the hotel. Registration deadline is July 11th, 2008.
