Hi Everybody, *Hi Candice* This is just a reminder to register for the Section 47/50/51 Conference which is less than a month away! Section 50 has less than 20 actives registered at this time and I know we can do better than this. The early bird price of $28 ends on March 3rd, so be sure to register soon so you don't get stuck with the regular cost of $33. Please encourage as many actives, pledges, advisors and alumni to register for this event because it is an excellent opportunity to attend valuable workshop, expand your skill set and HAVE FUN with brothers from across the region. Also, if you planning to attend an APO LEADS course during the conference sign up ASAP or your spot may not be guaranteed since those seminars are filling up fast. Despite the chapter being able to submit a joint payment for registration fees each member that is attending still needs to register individually online so the conference planners don't know you plan on going until you have registered online. Please visit the Tri-Sectionals website for full details and for the registration link - www.sa.niu.edu/apo/sectionals but below you will find a few higlights: Friday, March 19th - Check-in followed with a Casino Night! - Card and Board games
- A poker tournament
- The movie "21" will be playing on a big screen
- Dancing and Raffles
- Drinks, snacks, and desserts (Mmmm)
Saturday, March 20th - Service Projects

- Banquet! (Toga Party themed with prizes)
Sunday, March 21st - Brunch and then travel home
Attached is a promotional flier to encourage alumni to attend, so for those recent graduates and older alumni still on this list there will be plenty of opportunities at the conference for you as well. Remember Presentation Skills Workshop requires pre-registration! - Learn about how to effective present to get your message across. Involves hands-on practice and participants will receive feedback. Also requires approx. 25-60 minutes of preparation beforehand. Recommended that participants be at least seniors and or alumni status and have attended at least one other conference. Limited spots available. Deadline to register is Friday, March 5th. Email Jeremy Bigman at
